back in the studio

Well I have just checked in on my website and although i have been dabbling about in my studio i can quite honestly say that i haven't done much. The reason for this is, YES, I'VE BEEN TOO BUSY DOING OTHER THINGS', so not prioritising my art. Not an unusual thing for most people and especially creatives. so i'm now back and fully focused on making and selling my art. I've just tidied up a few paintings and they will be going to the gallery one day this week. I need now to go and buy some more canvases and get painting. One thing i have learnt during my absence is that no amount of courses you go on, you just have to keep painting your own way and love what you paint. Other artists can teach technique which is useful, but when it comes to composition and colour, well it's all yours , otherwise you will end up with a painting that looks very similar to your teachers.
